| Spoke with H.R. about looking at another alternative to our current 457 plans. Savings for all city wide employees. Lenny also sent a e-mail to HR about 457 plans.
E-mail alert to Officers on city wide mail on pension bills. Signature sheets for cop killers to keep in prison. Treasurer Teeling completed Form 990 with the IRS keeping the lodge in good standing for tax exempt status, though we do not do any fundraising as a Lodge. Lodge dues to increase in 2012.*We have not had a dues increase in at least 10 years. VP Ciszewski working on FOP challenge coin, which was discussed at last meeting off record. Walk with Chicago FOP Lodge #7 brothers to support manpower shortages. Attended Deputy Chief Doherty & Commander Kopczynski retirement parties. Attended funeral for John Pacewic’s brother along with Brothers Poli & Ciszewski. |

| MINUTES from last meeting, 19th of August 2010.
Meeting was held at EPD training room. Topics of discussion as follows. - President’s activity report read to members at meeting. - New Elmhurst By-laws passed by membership present at meeting. - Discussion on Senate Bill to allow P/Os to buy back two years of military time. - FOP license plate, only to P/Os and current FOP members. - Balance of checking account from 08-19-2010. - Laptop Computer purchased for Lodge Administration * Secretary to retain Laptop (keeper of records, by-laws, minutes, etc.) - Discussion of new venue for retiring officers’. - State Senator John Millner endorsed by lodge #81. - Brother Carney’s daughter given FOP scholarship award check. - Thank you to “Cop on Top” & “Torch Run” volunteers. - Sick news read. - Good News. - Retirement News. - FOP BBQ update. |
